Oracle/MySQL Instructor/Trainer

General Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for delivering instructor led/classroom training.
• Primarily, training is delivered face-to-face.
• Ensures and checks the training environment set up and installation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Preferably Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) and Oracle Certified Professional (OCP).
• With at least three (3) years relevant working experience in any of the following:
  • Oracle Database Administration;
  • MySQL Database Administration;
  • Database Application Development (SQL, PL/SQL);
  • Oracle Forms/Reports: Client-Server and Browser-Based (version 10g/11g experience is an advantage);
  • Application Server (Weblogic and/or Oracle'sApplication Server); or
  • Other Oracle products.
• Must have the ability to make best practice recommendations based on past work.
• With proven ability to present complex technical constructs to business and non-technical users.
• With proven hands-on technical work with a variety of technologies.
• Must demonstrate technical expertise integrating a variety of diverse technical environments and cross-platform technologies.
• With training experience in a technical, software-based training role.
• With excellent training and presentation skills.
• With excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must have excellent technical communication skills both oral and written.
